Can I take business cards with me to the interview to hand them out?

This is still most common at management level, but not at all amongst those just starting out in their careers. Moreover, the person you’re meeting already has your ‘business card’ in the form of your application documents.
If you have received your counterpart’s business card, it would be very rude to put it in your pocket without looking at it. Take a moment to read it and place it in plain view on the table in front of you. You can then carefully file the card away with your documents later.
