Is it reasonable to ask when the earliest I can take holiday?

It may well be legitimate, but it’s not wise, as it makes you seem unmotivated and unwilling to work hard. During the interview, however, the interviewer will want to know how motivated you are. You can still ask this question even if you’re already in the job.
