English Native Speaker / Learning Companion

12–19 hours per week | Immediate start | Klagenfurt/Hallegg

CreaVita Montessori Private School is a small, family-like school in Klagenfurt/Hallegg. We are looking for an English native speaker or someone with native-level English to join our team and help make English a natural part of our children’s everyday school life.

Your role

The position combines English language support, structured teaching and afternoon supervision. Your responsibilities will include:

accompanying children throughout the school day and communicating naturally with them in English
integrating English into everyday activities, conversations and learning situations
teaching approximately 4 hours of structured English lessons per week to small groups at different language levels
preparing engaging, age-appropriate English activities
being part of the afternoon programme and independently supervising the children on some afternoons
contributing to a positive, respectful and supportive learning environment

Above all, we are looking for someone who is warm, reliable and respectful in their interactions with children and who has a genuine interest in Montessori education and child-centred learning.

You should:

genuinely enjoy working with children
be able to build positive and trusting relationships
work independently and responsibly
enjoy being an active part of a small school community
be open to Montessori principles and independent learning

A background in education, teaching or childcare would be an advantage, but is not essential. Experience or qualifications in sports or coaching would be an additional plus.

Position details

Start: Immediately
Hours: Approximately 12–19 hours per week
Working hours: Between 8 am and 3 pm
