Viagra Professional is a sildenafil-based erectile dysfunction medicine used to improve erection quality in adult men. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. It does not increase libido and does not produce an automatic erection without arousal.

It is usually taken as needed before sexual activity. Food, especially a heavy meal, may delay onset. It should not be used more than once in 24 hours. The “professional” label does not change the basic safety profile of sildenafil.

Common side effects include headache, flushing, facial warmth, nasal congestion, dizziness, indigestion, nausea, and visual changes such as blurred vision or blue-tinted vision. Some users may also notice palpitations or lightheadedness.

It should be avoided or used very carefully in people with serious heart disease, recent stroke or heart attack, severe liver disease, very low blood pressure, retinitis pigmentosa, or significant kidney impairment.
