Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Kickstart your career in the semiconductor industry with a role that combines technical challenge and innovation. You'll have the opportunity to design, verify, and validate complex SoC architectures, contribute to cutting-edge verification frameworks, and develop your skills alongside experienced engineers, setting you up for a successful and rewarding career in a field that's shaping the future of technology.
- Designing and verifying SoC architectures for industrial microcontroller products, including subsystem and IP integration
- Developing and implementing test plans, testbenches, and verification environments to ensure thorough verification of core IPs and peripherals on system-level
- Creating and executing C-based test sequences, APIs, and VIPs to validate system-level functionality and achieve full test and code coverage closure
- Ensuring power aware verification of UPF intent and power modes to
guarantee robust and efficient SoC operation - Working on verification flow automation to streamline and optimize the verification process, and improve overall product quality
- Collaborating on the development of an AI-driven agentic verification framework to leverage artificial intelligence and enhance verification capabilities and efficiency
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field, with expertise in silicon product development, preferably in the microcontroller space
- 1-3 years of experience with metric-driven verification methods and flows, as well as proficiency in SystemVerilog, C, and Python coding
- Knowledge of ARM processors (e.g. Cortex-M0, M33, A5) and micro-controller IP design (using ARM processors, AHB, and AXI) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication skills, including fluent English, with German being a plus, and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external teams and customers
- A self-motivated and proactive approach, with a willingness to collaborate and drive results
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
